14 Players In Camp As Super Eagles Begin Preparations for Unity Cup Clash Against Zimbabwe

Super Eagles have arrived in London ahead of the four-nation tournament known as the Unity Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The defending champions are scheduled to face Zimbabwe in the semi-final on Tuesday, with the team’s first training session set to hold on Saturday evening.

The update was confirmed by the Super Eagles Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, via social media.

According to the team officials, 14 players had arrived in camp as of Saturday afternoon ahead of the opening training session scheduled for 6 p.m. at Cray Valley FC.

The players currently in camp are Junior Ayobami, Al Ameen Tijani, Michael Atata, Adeoye Aderemi, Oputa Chibueze, Ighoke Obinna, Ocholi Elias, Oyedokun Tosin, Philip Otele, Arthur Okonkwo, Femi Azeez, Owen Oseni, Nnadi Tochukwu and Terem Moffi.

The Unity Cup tournament is expected to provide the coaching crew with another opportunity to assess players and strengthen preparations for upcoming international engagements.
