Nigeria’s Super Falcons have returned to training barely 24 hours after their emphatic 5–0 quarterfinal victory over Zambia at the 2024 African Women’s Nations Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Without taking a rest day, the nine-time African champions hit the pitch on Sunday to begin preparations for their high-stakes semifinal clash against defending champions South Africa, scheduled for Tuesday.

The encounter promises to be a thrilling battle between two of the continent’s top sides, with a coveted place in the final on the line.

In the second semifinal, tournament hosts Morocco will face Ghana. Winners from both ties will meet in the final, while the losing teams will contest the third-place match.

Following the team's media campaign dubbed Mission X, the Super Falcons will be aiming to extend their dominant record in the competition and reclaim the continental crown they last won in 2018.
