2025 Afrobasket Championship: NBBF Retains Abdulrahman As D’Tigers Head Coach

As preparations for the 2025 Afrobasket Championship gather momentum, the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has confirmed that interim coach Mohammed Abdulrahman will continue at the helm of D’Tigers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The national team began its training earlier this week following the release of the preliminary roster for the continental tournament.

In an announcement on Thursday morning, the Federation stated that Abdulrahman will retain his role as head coach, leading the team into the championship.

Abdulrahman, who successfully guided D’Tigers through the qualifiers, has been praised for his dedication and efforts in securing the team’s place at the competition.
