2026 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers: D’Tigress To Face Germany, France, Others

D’Tigress have learned their opponents for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draw for the competition was conducted on Wednesday, confirming a challenging path for the reigning African champions.

D’Tigress will take on Colombia, the Philippines, Germany, South Korea and France in the qualifying series as they bid to secure a place at the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.

The tournament is scheduled to hold in Villeurbanne, Lyon, France, where participating teams will battle for the available tickets to the global showpiece.
