2026 WCQ: Chadian Officials To Handle Super Eagles vs Rwanda Clash

Chadian referee Alhadji Allaou Mahamat has been appointed to officiate the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Rwanda’s Amavubi in Uyo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Mahamat will be assisted by fellow countrymen Bogollah Issa (Assistant Referee 1), Moussa Hafiz (Assistant Referee 2), and Abdelkerim Ousmane (Fourth Official).
Egypt’s Abdelsalam Mahmoud has been named referee assessor, while Gambian official Bakary Jammeh will serve as the Match Commissioner.
The matchday seven tie is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, with kick-off set for 5 p.m. Nigerian time.
The Super Eagles secured a 2-0 victory over Rwanda in their previous meeting on matchday five at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali last March.
