2026 World Cup Qualifier: NFF Announces Ticket Prices As Super Eagles Host Rwanda

Football fans will pay between ₦1,000 and ₦3,000 to watch Nigeria’s Super Eagles face Rwanda’s Amavubi in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match scheduled for Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), VIP tickets will be sold for ₦3,000, while tickets for popular stands will be available at ₦1,000. Sales will commence on Friday at designated outlets across Uyo.

Alizor Chuks, the NFF’s Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, emphasized the Federation’s zero-tolerance policy toward ticket fraud ahead of the fixture.

 “It is important to let the general public know that the NFF Security Committee has declared total war on all ticket manipulators this time. Ticket fakers and racketeers will be dealt with,” Chuks said on Wednesday.

“All tickets will be scanned at the gates. All intending spectators are advised to buy their tickets from accredited ticket sellers. Fake ticket sellers or holders will be arrested and prosecuted.”

Meanwhile, Rwanda’s national team delegation touched down at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, at 5:28 p.m. on Tuesday. The visiting team, led by newly elected President of the Rwandan Football Federation (FERWAFA), Fabrice Shema Agoga, was warmly received by members of the Local Organising Committee. The team is lodged at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort and is scheduled to train at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On the Nigerian side, preparations continue at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene, where the squad is based. Africa Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman, and Panathinaikos forward, Cyriel Dessers, joined the camp on Wednesday morning.

Five other players — Victor Osimhen, Christantus Uche, Tolu Arokodare, Samuel Chukwueze, and Raphael Onyedika — were expected to arrive later on Wednesday evening.
