AC Milan are reportedly willing to consider offers for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze as the Serie A club evaluates its squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Chukwueze has returned to Milan following the conclusion of his loan spell at Premier League side Fulham, but his long-term future at the San Siro remains uncertain.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a productive spell in England, registering three goals and four assists in 23 league appearances. He also formed an impressive partnership with fellow Nigerians Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey during his time at Craven Cottage.

Despite his performances, Fulham declined to activate the €26 million purchase clause included in the loan agreement. However, reports from Italy indicate that discussions between the two clubs over a revised transfer arrangement remain ongoing, although no agreement has been reached.

Chukwueze is expected to report for Milan's pre-season preparations, but speculation surrounding his future has intensified amid changes to the club's technical and sporting structure.

Italian football journalist Luca Cerchione reported that Milan regard the Nigerian international as a player who could be sold if an acceptable offer is presented.

“The club views Chukwueze as a sellable asset, though they are prepared to let him leave only if a suitable offer arrives,” Cerchione wrote on X.

The report suggests that while Milan are open to a transfer, the winger is not among the players the club is actively seeking to move on. This could leave the door open for Chukwueze to remain with the Rossoneri, although competition for places is expected to increase next season.

Chukwueze joined Milan from Villarreal in 2023 in a deal worth approximately €20 million and signed a five-year contract. Since arriving in Italy, he has shown flashes of his talent but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.

With two years remaining on his current contract, Milan are expected to carefully assess their options as they balance squad planning with the need to maintain the player's market value.

A potential transfer could offer Chukwueze an opportunity to secure more consistent playing time and strengthen his position ahead of Nigeria's upcoming international fixtures.
