Senegal’s U17 team and some members of the technical crew could face disciplinary action from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) following their conduct during the semi-final clash against Morocco at the ongoing U17 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The incident reportedly occurred after the match, with several Senegalese players and officials seen making provocative gestures towards the Moroccan crowd inside the stadium.

The actions have since generated reactions on social media, where many fans criticised the behaviour and described it as unsportsmanlike and unprofessional.

CAF is expected to review the incidents and determine whether sanctions or disciplinary measures will be imposed on the players and officials involved.

Despite the controversy, Senegal have booked their place in the final of the competition where they will take on Tanzania.
