Abia Warriors: Amapakabo Bemoans Missed Chances In Defeat To Nasarawa United

Abia Warriors Technical Adviser, Imama Amapakabo, has expressed frustration at his side's profligacy in front of goal in the narrow defeat to Nasarawa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Umu Chineke Boys suffered their first loss of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season to the newcomers at the Lafia City Stadium.

The former league winner showered the loss on his team, adding that they would go back and rework themselves ahead of the upcoming matches.

He said: "We lost, you know, but we have to go back to do a whole lot in terms of what we were able to do.

"The game was ours to win or lose, but we were not clinical in front of goal, but I think we lost the game ourselves. In all, it was not a bad game, except for the scoreline."
