African Club Volleyball Championship: Nigerian Customs, Kano Pillars Among Registered Clubs

Nigerian representatives Nigeria Customs Service Volleyball Club and Kano Pillars Volleyball Club are among the 30 teams confirmed for the 47th edition of the African Men’s Club Volleyball Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 2026 tournament, organized under the auspices of the Confederation of African Volleyball, is set to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, which is preparing to host a historic and record-breaking edition of the competition.

A total of 30 clubs from 17 African countries are expected to converge on Kigali, making it the largest turnout in the history of the championship. 

The tournament continues to grow in stature, serving as a platform for elite volleyball clubs across the continent to compete for continental supremacy.

Nigeria Customs and Kano Pillars will be aiming to make a strong impression against some of Africa’s top volleyball sides, as the competition promises high-level action and intense rivalries.

Kigali is anticipated to come alive during the championship, reinforcing its status as a major hub for continental sporting events.
