African Volleyball Club Championship: Two Nigerian Clubs Registered As Deadline Approaches

The organizers of the 2026 Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship have confirmed that two Nigerian teams Nigeria Customs Service Volleyball Club and Vipers and Partners VC — have successfully registered for the continental tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the African Volleyball Confederation, a total of 24 teams from 14 countries have so far registered for the championship, which will take place in Cairo from April 11 to April 24, 2026.

The competition is expected to bring together some of the best women’s volleyball clubs across the continent as teams battle for the prestigious African title.

Countries with multiple representatives include Egypt and Kenya, who each have three teams registered for the championship.

Egypt will be represented by Zamalek SC, Al Ahly SC, and Alexandria SC.

Kenya’s representatives are Kenya Commercial Bank Volleyball Club, Kenya Pipeline Company Volleyball Club, and Directorate of Criminal Investigation Volleyball Club.

Other registered teams include Litto Team Volleyball and Mayo Kani Evolution from Cameroon; Green Buffaloes VC and Leopards VC from Zambia; as well as APR WVC and Police WVC from Rwanda.

Also registered are Gender Light Club, Club Omnisport Descartes, National Alcohol and Liquor Factory Volleyball Club, Bafing VC, Sococim Team, Club Feminin de Carthage, and Kampala Capital City Authority Volleyball Club.

The Democratic Republic of Congo will have three representatives in the competition: VC Club La Loi, VC Les Aigles du Congo, and VC Vita Club.

The CAVB added that the final list of participating teams will be confirmed after the registration deadline of March 28, 2026.
