Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has returned to Nigeria for a well-deserved vacation following a demanding season with Sevilla and the national team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 25-year-old forward played an important role in helping Sevilla secure their place in Spain’s top flight, contributing to the club’s successful battle against relegation during a challenging campaign.
Fresh from his exploits with both club and country, Adams arrived home carrying his bronze medal from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where he represented Nigeria on the continental stage.
One of the most touching moments of his homecoming came as he shared the achievement with his family. The Sevilla striker placed his AFCON bronze medal around the necks of his parents, who proudly supported him throughout the tournament.
His father and mother had travelled to Morocco to watch him represent the Super Eagles, witnessing firsthand one of the biggest milestones of his career. Their support was rewarded with memorable moments, including seeing their son score for Nigeria during the competition.
The emotional reunion underscored the significance of Adams’ achievements over the past year, combining personal success with national pride.
After a physically and emotionally demanding season, the striker will now enjoy time with family and loved ones before turning his attention to preparations for the new campaign with Sevilla and future assignments with the Super Eagles.
