Abia Warriors FC Technical Adviser, Imama Amapakabo, has resumed his duties with the club amidst exit rumours ahead of the upcoming campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was gathered that the renowned tactician has turned down an approach from Kano Pillars to remain with the Umuahia-based side, as they prepare for their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

According to reports, Abia Warriors are currently in Uyo for pre-season training where they squared up with Nationwide League side KMK in a friendly at the Uyo Township Stadium, which they won 1-0.

Recall that reports have suggested that Amapakabo was close to joining Kano Pillars following the departure of Usman Abdallah.
