Anti-Corruption Agency Storms Football Federation Office, Arrests Officials

Officials of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) are under scrutiny after operatives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) stormed the federation’s offices at the Goal Project in Kasarani, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A team of seven EACC officers reportedly arrived at the premises demanding immediate access to critical documents as part of an ongoing investigation. 

Among the materials requested are FKF’s financial records covering the 2024–2026 period, a list of all pre-qualified companies scheduled to engage with the federation between 2025 and 2027, as well as tender documents and other procurement-related records.

The development caused a stir within the federation, with members of the Finance Department vacating the premises shortly after the officers’ arrival.

FKF member Ahmedqadar Mohammed Dabar and former National Executive Committee member Muriithi Nabea were seen engaging with EACC officials at the Goal Project offices as investigations intensified.

The probe is linked to an alleged KSh 42 million insurance scandal, with authorities focusing on financial dealings and procurement processes within the federation.
