Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters following the club’s disappointing 2025/26 Premier League campaign, which ended in relegation, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Wolves endured a difficult season, finishing bottom of the table with just three league victories and a total of 20 points. Despite the club’s struggles, Arokodare acknowledged the unwavering support shown by fans throughout the challenging campaign.

Reflecting on the season, the Nigerian forward admitted the outcome fell far below expectations but pointed to several personal highlights, including notable performances during the closing stages of the season. He described the experience as a difficult but valuable period in his development.

Arokodare also took to social media to thank supporters, emphasizing how much their encouragement meant to the players during difficult moments.

Wolves’ relegation followed a season plagued by inconsistency, defensive shortcomings, and costly missed opportunities in crucial matches.

The striker finished the campaign as the club’s joint top scorer in the Premier League with three goals, while also contributing in other competitions. Since arriving from Belgian side Genk, Arokodare has remained an important member of the squad, although uncertainty continues to surround his future ahead of Wolves’ return to the Championship next season.
