Arokodare Left Out of Wolves’ Portugal Training Camp Amid Transfer Uncertainty

Nigeria international Tolu Arokodare has been omitted from Wolverhampton Wanderers' squad for the club's pre-season training camp in Portugal as speculation over his future continues to intensify, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 25-year-old is understood to be seeking a move away from Molineux following Wolves' relegation from the Premier League last season.

According to Sky Sports, Wolves recently rejected a loan offer from Serie A side Fiorentina for the striker. However, the Italian club are expected to return with an improved proposal before the close of the summer transfer window.

Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have also expressed interest in Arokodare and submitted an offer, but the forward is reportedly reluctant to make the switch to Turkey.

Instead, Arokodare is believed to be prioritising a move to one of Europe's top five leagues as he weighs up the next step in his career.

His exclusion from Wolves' pre-season tour is likely to fuel further speculation that a transfer could be completed before the new campaign gets underway.
