Nigeria’s men’s table tennis team kicked off their campaign at the ITTF World Team Championships in London with a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Saudi Arabia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Leading from the front, Quadri Aruna delivered an outstanding performance, winning two crucial matches to inspire Team Nigeria to a winning start in their opening group fixture.

Aruna’s dominance at key moments proved decisive, as the tie remained evenly balanced throughout the encounter. 

His composure under pressure ensured Nigeria stayed in contention against a determined Saudi Arabian side.

Olajide Omotayo also played a vital role, securing the third and decisive point to seal the victory for Nigeria.
