Atalanta CEO Breaks Silence On Lookman Transfer Saga

Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has addressed the ongoing transfer saga surrounding Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rumors of Lookman’s potential move to Inter Milan have dominated headlines in recent days, but the Bergamo-based club is yet to reach an agreement with the Nerazzurri.

Speaking on Monday, Percassi shed light on discussions held with the 26-year-old last season.

“We promised to sell him for two reasons: that he joins a big club and that he is never seen in another jersey in Italy,” Percassi told Actualité Serie A.

Lookman, who has been instrumental for Atalanta, reportedly submitted a transfer request on Sunday.
