Awoniyi Completes £9m Coventry Move

Super Eagles striker,Taiwo Awoniyi has completed a £9m move to Coventry from Nottingham Forest, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigeria international was given a public send-off at the City Ground during Forest's 2-0 pre-season win over Brest on Sunday.

"I am very excited about this season, and I can't wait to get started," Awoniyi said.

"I'm really looking forward to working with my new teammates. I have seen how amazing they have been last season, coming up from the Championship.

 "They were incredible and now I am just excited to join them." Awoniyi, capped 10 times by Nigeria, said farewell to fans at the City Ground at the weekend.
