Boost For Fans: Where To Watch All Super Eagles' World Cup Qualifiers Live Free on TV

In a major boost for Nigerian football fans, free-to-air broadcaster SportyTV has acquired exclusive rights to air Nigeria’s next four 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches live—completely free of charge.

The broadcaster, a subsidiary of the Sporty Group, confirmed that all matches will be available live on StarTimes DTT (Channel 258), DTH (Channel 190), the SportyTV mobile app, and the official SportyTV YouTube channel.

Coverage kicks off on September 6, when the Super Eagles take on Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo. Four days later, the team travels to face South Africa on September 9. In October, Nigeria will play Lesotho (October 6) and Benin Republic (October 13). Match times will be announced in due course.

The broadcasting deal makes SportyTV the sole open-access platform for the Super Eagles’ qualifiers, a significant departure from the common pay-TV model that has long dominated premium sports coverage across Africa.

Beyond just match broadcasts, SportyTV promises an immersive viewing experience with live match commentary, expert analysis from the SportyLive team, and on-site reporting from journalists covering each fixture.

The Super Eagles are aiming to secure a return to the FIFA World Cup, set to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico in 2026.
