Nigeria's Female Yellow Greens suffered a seven-wicket defeat to Brazil in their latest match at the ongoing 2026 Kwibuka T20 Women's Tournament in Kigali, Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side was unable to secure victory as Brazil produced a composed performance to claim a comfortable seven-wicket win on Monday afternoon.

Despite the setback, the Female Yellow Greens will be aiming to bounce back in their subsequent fixtures as they continue their campaign in the prestigious tournament, which serves as a platform to honour the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

The defeat represents another learning curve for Nigeria's women's cricket team as they seek to gain valuable international experience and improve their standing on the global stage.

Brazil, meanwhile, celebrated an important victory to boost their chances of progressing in the competition.
