Brentford Rewards Super Eagles Defender Benjamin Frederick With New Contract, First-Team Promotion

English Premier League club Brentford have rewarded Nigeria international Benjamin Frederick with a new long-term contract and promotion to the club's first team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 20-year-old defender has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Gtech Community Stadium until 2030, underlining the club's belief in his potential.

Brentford confirmed the development in a statement, announcing the Nigerian centre-back's elevation to the senior squad ahead of the new season.

 "Young Nigerian international Benjamin Frederick has been promoted to our first team. Congratulations, Benji," the club said.

The contract renewal and first-team promotion represent another major step in Frederick's career after impressing with his performances since joining the Premier League side.

The Super Eagles defender will now be aiming to establish himself in Brentford's senior team while continuing to strengthen his position in Nigeria's national team setup.
