Bundesliga: Boniface Will Lift Our Level – Bremen Coach

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface is poised to make his debut for Werder Bremen when they visit Borussia Mönchengladbach at Borussia Park on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Boniface joined Bremen on loan from Bayer Leverkusen on transfer deadline day after a proposed switch to AC Milan collapsed.

He was officially unveiled last week following a successful medical.

Bremen head coach Horst Steffen has lauded the 23-year-old’s quality and smooth integration into the squad.

“He’s very friendly, has been warmly welcomed here, and he’s someone who can raise the level of our game. His movement is exceptional,” Steffen said.

The manager also hinted that Boniface could feature alongside Romano Schmid and Samuel Mbangula as Bremen aim to recover from last weekend’s heavy 4–1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.
