CAF Executive To Meet Thursday On African Club Competitions Reforms

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Office will convene virtually on Thursday at 5:00 p.m, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Cairo time to deliberate on key issues affecting African football, with a major focus on the future of the continent's club competitions.
The meeting, which will take place immediately after the draw for the 2026/27 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, will consider recommendations submitted by the CAF Club Competitions Committee regarding the development of both tournaments.
The virtual session is expected to feature an extensive agenda covering several important areas, including competition structures, refereeing matters, and the FIFA-backed "Infantino Project."
Decisions reached during the meeting could have a significant impact on the organisation and future direction of CAF's premier inter-club competitions as the governing body continues its efforts to strengthen football across the continent.
