The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expected to announce its decision on the disciplinary case involving Morocco and Senegal before next Tuesday, following the disturbances that marred the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to information gathered, CAF’s disciplinary committee is working under strict timelines, with a verdict on Senegal’s case possibly reached within the next 48 hours.

The continental football governing body is keen to conclude the matter promptly in order to preserve the integrity of the competition and enforce its regulations.

Top CAF decision-makers are said to be closely involved in the process, underscoring the seriousness with which the incident is being treated.

The governing body is determined to act swiftly and decisively to address any breaches of conduct that occurred during the high-profile encounter.

Both Morocco and Senegal are expected to be formally notified of the outcome once deliberations are concluded, with potential sanctions to be communicated in line with CAF’s disciplinary code.
