The announcement comes as excitement builds for the tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from August 2 to 30, 2025.
According to CAF, the redesigned trophy forms part of a broader rebrand of the competition, aimed at celebrating the cultural heritage, unity, and footballing excellence that CHAN represents within the African football landscape.
The sleek, modern design combines gold and silver elements to symbolize the tournament’s prestige and growing prominence.
Notably, the trophy features 54 engraved lines representing each CAF member association, encircling a central map of Africa a powerful emblem of the championship’s pan-African identity.
