CHAN 2024: Home Based Eagles Beat Ikorodu City In Friendly

Home Based Super Eagles has intensified preparations for the forthcoming CAF African Nations Championship Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda (CHAN) 2024 with a friendly encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Goals from Junior Nduka, Anthony Ijoma and Sikiru Alimi gave the Home Based Eagles the 3-1 victory over Ikorodu City decided at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne. 

The CHAN 2024 will be held between 02–30 August, 2025, marking a return to East African soil following the 2016 edition in Rwanda.

The opening match will be hosted in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday, 02 August while the final match will take place in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday, 30 August.

Nigeria were drawn in Group D alongside Senegal, Congo and Sudan.
