Cape Verde Appoints New Head Coach

Cape Verde have appointed Humberto Bettencourt as the new head coach of the national team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Bettencourt succeeds Bubista, who departed his role with the Blue Sharks after accepting an appointment with Moroccan club RS Berkane.

The new coach will now take charge of Cape Verde as the team prepares for upcoming international assignments and looks to build on the progress made under his predecessor.

Bettencourt is expected to begin work immediately as the Cape Verde Football Federation seeks to maintain the national team's competitive momentum.
