Champions League: Osimhen Sets Goal Record With Strike Against Bodo Glimt

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen became the top foreign player for Galatasaray for most goals in Europe's elite inter-club tournament, Champions League, Europa League or Conference League, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Osimhen, who previously scored the most goals for a foreign player in a single season with 37, achieved another first in Europe.

The Nigerian, who jointly held the record with Burak Yılmaz, who found the back of the net in six consecutive European matches in 2012, made history on Wednesday evening, scoring his 7th and 8th goal with the opening goal against Bodo Glimt.

The Nigerian, who had scored against Tottenham, AZ Alkmaar, Dynamo Kyiv, Ajax, and Liverpool, extended his scoring streak to seven matches and became the sole holder of the record.
