Crises Rock Senegal Football Federation, CAS To Rule Next Week

A major dispute surrounding the leadership of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has escalated, with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) set to hear the case next week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The controversy stems from the federation’s presidential election held in September 2025, which saw Abdoulaye Fall declared the winner.
However, the outcome was challenged by rival candidate Mady Touré, who subsequently filed an appeal at CAS.
Touré has questioned the legitimacy of the electoral process and is seeking a review of the result by the Switzerland-based sports arbitration body.
CAS is now expected to examine the petition and deliver a decisive ruling that could shape the future leadership of Senegalese football.
The tribunal will either validate the election victory of Fall or order that the electoral process be reopened, potentially paving the way for a fresh vote within the federation.
The impending decision is widely anticipated by stakeholders in Senegalese football, as it could bring clarity to the ongoing leadership crisis within the federation.
