D’Tigress Star Joins Spanish Side Joventut Badalona

Nigeria's D'Tigress star, Lauren Ebo has joined Spanish side, Club Joventut Badalona on a deal through June 2026, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian-American center, born in the United States, represented Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

A 6'4" (1.93m) powerful and intelligent presence in the paint, she played college basketball at Texas, Notre Dame, and Penn State, and most recently starred for KS Basket in Poland, averaging 15.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and a 19 efficiency rating.

These are only a glimpse of what these ladies are doing in Europe and being at a young age it is becoming scary at what the future holds for these players and how that development will help improve the D'Tigress at large.

The exciting D'Tigress player also recorded a game high 21 rebounds which was the second most rebounds recorded in the 2024 season with the Polish side.

She is considered as one of the exciting Nigeria's prospects that are putting up insane numbers in both the league and continental tournaments alongside the likes of Amy Okonkwo, Murjanatu Musa, Nicole Enabosi, Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah etc.
