Early CHAN Exit: Super Eagles B to Land in Abuja on Thursday

Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles will return to the country on Thursday following their early elimination from the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team restored some pride with a 2–0 victory over Congo in their final Group Stage fixture on Tuesday, after opening the campaign with back-to-back defeats—losing 0–1 to Senegal and suffering a heavy 0–4 defeat to Sudan.

Despite the win against Congo, the 2018 CHAN silver medallists became the first team to crash out of this year’s tournament, failing to progress beyond the group phase.

The contingent is scheduled to arrive at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Thursday.
