Edo Queens have emerged as champions of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership following a goalless draw against Bayelsa Queens, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The highly contested encounter ended 0-0, a result that was enough to secure the league title for the Benin-based side and cap off an impressive campaign.

The triumph marks a second NWFL Premiership title for head coach Moses Aduku, who once again guided the "Ada Bendel" to domestic success with a disciplined and consistent performance throughout the season.

By virtue of winning the league title, Edo Queens will represent Nigeria at this year's WAFU B Women's Champions League qualifiers, where they will battle for a place in the CAF Women's Champions League.

The achievement further underlines Edo Queens' growing dominance in Nigerian women's football as they now turn their attention to continental competition.
