Egypt To Host 2027 Africa U-23 Cup Of Nations

Egypt has been selected to host the 2027 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, the continental tournament that will also serve as the qualifying competition for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The tournament will bring together Africa’s leading U-23 national teams as they battle for qualification to the men’s football event at the Los Angeles Olympics, scheduled for July 2028.

Egypt’s hosting of the competition further strengthens its position as one of Africa’s leading hosts of major football tournaments.

The 2027 edition is expected to play a crucial role in determining Africa’s representatives at the 2028 Olympic Games.
