El Kanemi Warriors have emerged champions of the 2026 President Federation Cup after edging Ikorodu City 1-0 in the final played in Asaba, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Maiduguri-based club claimed their fourth President Federation Cup title with a disciplined display, sealing victory with the only goal of the encounter to cap off an impressive cup campaign.

The triumph also guarantees El Kanemi Warriors a place in next season's CAF Confederation Cup, where they will represent Nigeria on the continental stage.

Ikorodu City, who were hoping to lift the trophy for the first time, battled hard throughout the final but were unable to find a way past the resilient El Kanemi Warriors defence.
