FIBA Women’s World Cup: D’Tigress To Know Foe April 21

Nigeria’s D’Tigress will discover their group stage opponents for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 on April 21, following the confirmation of the draw principles by FIBA, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
According to details released, the official draw ceremony will take place at the Kraftwerk Berlin in Germany, where the 16 qualified teams will be تقسیم into four groups.
FIBA also outlined key regulations guiding the draw.
The teams will be seeded into four pots, with host nation Germany already pre-assigned to Group A.
In addition, the draw structure ensures competitive balance, with a maximum of two European teams permitted in each group.
D’Tigress, Africa’s leading women’s basketball side, will be aiming for a favorable draw as they prepare to compete against the world’s elite teams at the tournament.
