Flying Eagles Complete Screening, Eye WAFU U-20 Glory In Côte d’Ivoire

Flying Eagles head coach Abdu Maikaba has revealed that the team's screening exercise has been completed, with attention now shifting to building a competitive squad for the upcoming WAFU U-20 Championship in Côte d’Ivoire, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Maikaba disclosed this on Wednesday after the team's morning training session at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch in Abuja.

According to the coach, the next phase of preparations will focus on assembling a strong team capable of successfully defending the WAFU U-20 title and securing qualification for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), scheduled to be held in Ghana early next year.

The Flying Eagles, Nigeria’s U-20 national team, are expected to intensify preparations in the coming weeks as they aim to maintain their dominance in the West African regional competition and book a place at the continental championship.
