Football Federation Elective Congress Gets Date

After several weeks of waiting and an earlier postponement caused by financial and logistical constraints, the electoral commission of the Congolese Association Football Federation has officially announced new dates for elections across the various leagues and the federation’s executive committee, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The electoral process will begin with the election into the National Youth Football League on April 6, followed by the Women’s Football League elections on April 7. 

The vote for the National Football League is scheduled for April 8.

The process will conclude on April 11 with the election of new members into the executive committee of Congolese Association Football Federation, which will oversee the administration of football in the country.

The elections are considered a crucial step in shaping the future direction and governance of football in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as stakeholders look forward to a new leadership structure that will guide the development of the sport.
