Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation and former Nigeria national football team coach Austin Eguavoen has obtained a FIFA Leadership Diploma after successfully completing a leadership programme organised by FIFA, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Eguavoen received the certificate at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, marking a significant milestone in his professional development within football administration.

The programme is designed to equip football administrators and technical leaders with modern leadership, governance and management skills aimed at improving the global development of the game.

Eguavoen’s achievement is expected to further strengthen technical planning and administrative capacity within Nigerian football as the federation continues efforts to enhance the development of the sport in the country.
