Four Nigerians Confirmed For Prefontaine Classic

Four Nigerian athletes have been confirmed to compete at the prestigious Prefontaine Classic scheduled to take place on July 3 and 4 in the United States, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The quartet will represent Nigeria across different track and field events as they continue preparations for major international competitions later in the season.
World record holder Tobi Amusan will compete in the women's 100m hurdles, while Nigeria's leading shot put star Chukwuebuka Enekwechi is set to feature in the men's shot put event.
In the women's 400m, Ella Onojuvwevwo will be in action as she looks to continue her impressive performances on the international circuit.
Also confirmed for the meeting is Ajayi Kayinsola, who will compete in the men's 100m event against a strong field of world-class sprinters.
The Prefontaine Classic, one of the most celebrated meets on the global athletics calendar, is expected to attract many of the world's top athletes, providing the Nigerian contingent with another opportunity to showcase their talents on the international stage.
