Fulham Decline Permanent Deal For Chukwueze

Premier League club Fulham have decided not to make Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze’s move from AC Milan permanent, opting against triggering the €24 million buy-out clause in his loan agreement, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to Italian outlet Tuttomercato, the West London side will allow the season-long loan to expire without pursuing a full transfer, meaning Chukwueze will return to San Siro this summer.

The 27-year-old Super Eagles international enjoyed a solid campaign at Craven Cottage, registering 3 goals and 4 assists across all competitions. 

While his performances were generally well-received and provided valuable depth on the wings, Fulham’s hierarchy have ultimately chosen not to commit to the permanent signing.

Chukwueze, who joined Villarreal before moving to AC Milan in 2023, is now set to return to Italy and link up with the Rossoneri for pre-season training.

 His long-term future at the club remains unclear, with reports suggesting several European clubs are monitoring the situation.

The winger’s versatility and experience in top-flight European football are likely to attract interest as the summer transfer window heats up.
