Turkish Super Lig top guns, Galatasaray has rejected Al-Hilal's huge €150 million offer for Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
The Saudi Arabian team, had expressed interest in the Nigerian forward, who was signed from Napoli at the beginning of last season.
The Saudi delegation headed by Prince Nawaf bin Saad made a verbal offer. The Prince offered Galatasaray 130 million euros for Osimhen and informed the club's management that he would personally come to Istanbul if the negotiations were to become official.
Al-Hilal offered Osimhen an astronomical sum of 50 million euros per year. However, Galatasaray informed the other side that they had no intention of selling the player. Following this, Al-Hilal increased their offer to 150 million euros.
Despite this astronomical sum, President Dursun Özbek and his management categorically rejected the offer and informed Al-Hilal that they were determined to keep the player in the team.
Osimhen, stating that he is very happy at the yellow and red club and is only focused on the new season, once again emphasized that money is not a priority for him.
The Nigerian scored two goals in the first week of the league against Çorum FK.
