Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has stepped down from his position as Chairman of Kano Pillars FC, with Alhaji Ahmad Musbahu Garo appointed as his replacement following changes in the club's leadership, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Musa, who was appointed to oversee the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, will continue his career as an active player for the Sai Masu Gida. He also retains his role as the club's ambassador.
The former Leicester City and CSKA Moscow forward remains a key figure at Kano Pillars, both on and off the pitch, with his ambassadorial responsibilities expected to strengthen the club's image and relationship with supporters.
The appointment of Garo marks a new chapter for Kano Pillars as the club prepares for the upcoming NPFL season, while Musa continues to contribute through his experience and leadership as a player.
