Former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses delivered a standout performance, scoring once and providing an assist as FC Kaysar defeated Zhenys 3-1 to book a place in the semi-finals of the Kazakhstan Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Kaysar made a dream start to the quarter-final encounter, taking the lead in the fourth minute when Nurali Zhaksylyk converted a pass from Moses.

Zhenys responded swiftly, with Andrija Filipović drawing the visitors level in the eighth minute to set up an evenly contested first half.

Moses restored Kaysar's advantage just before the interval, calmly converting a penalty in the 45th minute to give his side a 2-1 lead heading into the break.

Zhaksylyk then completed his brace shortly after the restart, scoring Kaysar's third goal to put the result beyond doubt and secure the club's passage to the last four.

The 35-year-old Nigerian played a decisive role throughout the contest, with his goal and assist proving instrumental in Kaysar's victory. The performance further highlighted the former Chelsea and Super Eagles star's enduring quality and influence as the club continues its pursuit of domestic silverware.
