I Will Be Back Stronger And Better – Boniface Reacts To Goal Drought

Nigeria and Werder Bremen forward Victor Boniface has broken his silence over his recent goal drought and dip in form, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Super Eagles striker has gone 13 matches without finding the back of the net for his club, a situation that has sparked growing frustration among supporters and pundits.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Boniface addressed the criticism, insisting he remains mentally strong and confident that he will soon rediscover his scoring touch.
“Like I said, media says a lot of things. When you don’t score, people want to talk, but trust me, they don’t know anything about me,” Boniface said.
“I’ve seen things, but I am strong anybody who knows me knows that I’m a strong guy. Those things don’t really affect me.”
The former Union Saint-Gilloise striker added that he is focused on working harder to bounce back stronger and help his team achieve their goals this season.
“I’ll be back stronger and better. It’s just a phase, and every striker goes through it. What matters is how you respond,” he concluded.
Boniface will be hoping to end his goal drought when Werder Bremen take on their next Bundesliga opponents this weekend.
