Millwall have reportedly turned down a £20 million offer from Ipswich Town for Super Eagles forward Femi Azeez following the striker’s impressive rise in both domestic and international football, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 24-year-old Nigerian attacker, who remains under contract at Millwall until 2028, has emerged as one of the most highly rated forwards in the English transfer market after an outstanding Championship campaign.

Azeez enjoyed a breakthrough season for Millwall, scoring 11 goals and registering seven assists to play a key role in the club’s attacking performances. His displays have attracted growing interest from several Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

The forward further enhanced his reputation after a sensational international debut for Nigeria in the Unity Cup semi-final against Zimbabwe. Azeez scored twice in the Super Eagles’ 2-0 victory, instantly making an impact on the international stage and helping Nigeria secure a place in the final.

Reports suggest Millwall value the striker closer to £30 million, citing his age, current form, and long-term contract as major factors behind their stance. The Championship side are believed to be determined to retain one of their most influential attacking players unless their valuation is fully met.

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is understood to be keen on strengthening his squad following the club’s promotion to the Premier League. The Tractor Boys are seeking proven attacking reinforcements as they prepare for the challenge of top-flight football next season.

However, Ipswich are not the only club monitoring Azeez’s situation. Aston Villa, AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and Sunderland have all reportedly expressed interest in the Nigerian forward as his reputation continues to grow.

With standout performances for both club and country, Femi Azeez is rapidly establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s most exciting football talents ahead of what could become a highly competitive summer transfer battle.
