The Junior Female YellowGreens have unveiled a 14-player squad for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Division 1 Qualifier scheduled to take place in Tanzania from August 30 to September 5, 2026, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian team will be aiming to secure qualification for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup as they compete against some of the continent’s best young cricketing nations.

The squad is expected to intensify preparations ahead of the tournament as the Junior Female YellowGreens look to make a strong impression in Tanzania.

The Africa Division 1 Qualifier represents an important pathway for Nigeria’s young female cricketers to secure a place on the global stage and continue the country’s development of women’s cricket.
