La Liga: Real Sociedad Boss Promises Sadiq Umar More Game Time

Real Sociedad manager Sergio Francisco has assured that Nigerian forward Sadiq Umar will enjoy more playing time this season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Umar, who spent last season on loan at Valencia, has made three substitute appearances for Sociedad so far this campaign.

Francisco praised the Super Eagles striker’s improved fitness and commitment in training, noting that his hard work is beginning to pay off.

“I would say he hasn’t been at the same level, but during the best phases of the match, he was very involved,” Francisco told Estadio Deportivo.

“I wouldn’t differentiate much in terms of fitness levels; he’s contributing a lot in training, and we’re pleased with his daily attitude.

“I’m confident he’ll get more involvement from now on.”
