Lookman Rejoins Atalanta First Team

Atalanta have welcomed Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman back into their first-team setup following his return from international duty, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to several outlets, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lookman reported to the club’s training base on Friday and worked with the squad for the first time under new manager Ivan Juric.

The former RB Leipzig and Leicester City player had been sidelined in August after attempting to secure a move to Inter Milan, training separately from the rest of the group.

Atalanta, however, have decided against any further disciplinary measures and have fully reintegrated the 26-year-old into team activities.

It is still unclear whether Lookman will feature in Sunday’s Serie A clash against Lecce, but his return to full training is seen as a positive step for both player and club.
