Lwandamina Appointed Interim Head Coach of Zambia’s Chipolopolo

Zambia’s football governing body, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), has appointed George Lwandamina as the interim head coach of the national team, the Zambia national football team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lwandamina will take charge of the team during the upcoming FIFA Series scheduled to be held in Botswana.

The experienced tactician will be assisted by Oswald Mutapa Jr., who currently manages Power Dynamos.

Lwandamina’s appointment is seen as a temporary arrangement as the Zambian football authorities continue efforts to stabilize the technical setup of the Chipolopolo ahead of future international engagements. 

The FIFA Series will provide the interim technical crew an opportunity to assess players and prepare the team for upcoming competitions.
